Changing needs often require expansion and reconfiguration of the radio system. InterLink was designed with this in mind. The equipment mechanics were based on sub-racks with a multi-configuration backplan.

InterLink offered a fast way of establishing infrastructure for:

Switching Centre interconnect for both fixed line and mobile operators
Broadcast Contribution/Distribution Network for reliable, high performance transport of DAB/DVB signals
ATM Backbone and STM-1 Regional Networks, and met or exceeded international performance recommendations
Ring Closure and Back-up links for critical services

Nera Networks wins major 3-year frame agreement in North-Africa

Nera Networks has entered into a three-year frame agreement with a major North-African operator. Deliveries in the initial phase are currently estimated at USD 6,3 million over the coming 12 months.

Nera signs EUR 15 million 5 year supply contract of Microwave systems to Polkomtel

Nera Networks Poland - a subsidiary of Nera Networks AS has entered a 5 year frame agreement with Polkomtel SA, Poland's largest mobile operator.
