Training: Acquiring in-house expertise

Even the most reliable equipment occasionally malfunctions. The effective planning and management of a telecommunications system requires extensive technical know-how.

To reduce the inconvenience of possible faults to a minimum, Nera Networks trains selected customer personnel to understand their equipment and keep the system in top operating condition. Training includes usage and maintenance skills, problem identification and solving, and how equipment inter-relates to its sub-systems.

Training courses consist of both theoretical and practical aspects, with hands-on experience of equipment test and maintenance routines. Advanced specialist-level courses are available in Microwave Radio System Planning and Installation Planning and Commissioning.

Training is organised in co-operation with equipment manufacturers or authorities who can provide detailed instruction on each particular subject. Special courses can also be arranged upon customer request.
