Nera Networks has focused on research and development since our inception in 1947.
Allthough we design all our products for a long life span we acknowledge that the dynamic nature of the telecoms industry at some point demands replacements of microwave radio equipment for network owners. With a large R&D department we work hard to make sure that our new products have added value for our customers.
We keep existing customers informed about our product road map to ensure a smooth transition if products are planned for discontinuation.
We believe that our long history with microwave radio technology and proven track record for pioneering are some of our biggest assets. So we are proud to show you some of our legacy products while we are serving today's needs, and designing tomorrow's products and solutions. We call it Bridging Technologies.
The legacy products on this website are from the last decade and showed for reference purposes. If you should ever happen to visit our headquarter in Bergen, Norway, we invite you to stop by our museum where we have on display microwave radio equipment dating back to the early 1950s.
