Royal interest in cross-border co-operations
At the end of October, Nera representatives in Slovakia had the pleasure of meeting His Majesty King of Norway Harald V and Her Majesty Queen of Norway Sonja. The visit was part of a wider program, including political meetings, business activities and cultural events in Slovakia. Nera Networks was represented as a part of the Norwegian business community.
| The royals were invited by Ivan Gasparovic, the Slovakian President. The official program included the traditional bilateral political meetings, conferences, cultural events and visits to historical places.
Nera was invited at the seminar “Modern Companies in a Modern Society”, and was represented by Tore Thuen, Chief Sales Officer, Peter Stenberg General Director and Jaroslav Grygar, HR Manager of Nera Networks Serbia, and Nera’s Country Manager of Czech Republic Zdenek Rendla.
Peter Stenberg was presenting how Nera has worked on Corporate Responsibility in Slovakia. Tore Thuen gave an orientation on Nera Networks interest on Slovak – Norwegian Forum of Competence and its Defense section. |

Next to the royal visit, Nera had the pleasure of signing partnership agreements with Electrotechnical High School in Liptovsky Hradok and the Academy of the Armed Forces in Liptovsky Mikulas. Nera will offer both institutions specialized practice, internship, education and consultations.
